Woollatt's Season Could be Over Saturday, June 10th , 2062 The season is finished for Tom Woollatt of the Ottawa Fat Cats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Fat Cats third baseman suffered a partially torn labrum while colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Lancaster Farmers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. For the season, Woollatt has produced 4 hits in 17 at-bats for a .235 average with 1 home run and gotten on base at a .381 clip. |
