Middleton Is July's Best 3AA Hurler Saturday, August 1st , 2054 The M3L Double A made it official today -- Nick Middleton of the Lake Murray MotorBoaters is the Pitcher of the Month. In July he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Middleton made 5 starts, registered 4 wins and 1 loss with a solid 1.82 ERA. In 34.2 innings he allowed 32 hits, racked up 27 strikeouts, walked 10 and permitted teams to hit .246 against him. Middleton has made 14 starts so far this year and put up a 7-2 won-lost record with a 1.90 ERA. In 90 innings he has allowed 62 hits, walked 30 and struck out 87. |
