Segura Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, July 11th , 2063 Ángel Segura of the Toledo Saboteurs tagged 1 hit in today's 8-1 loss to the Richland Rails at Toledo Backyard Park to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Ángel Segura doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season, Segura is batting .324 with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 44 hits in 136 at-bats, 13 walks and a .387 OBP. Segura has played in 34 games. |
