Cangrejos Fantasmas Ellis Lost for Year Thursday, July 12th , 2063 Tanner Ellis of the Cangrejos Fantasmas just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Chesapeake reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Westwood Sixshooters recently at Sixshooters Stadium. Ellis suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch. The Cangrejos Fantasmas medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. Running the numbers on Ellis for the year, he has made 17 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 4-1 won-lost mark with a 1.45 ERA. In pitching 37.1 innings, he has totaled 23 strikeouts and 11 walks. |
