Player of the Week: Barton Springs's Ordóñez Monday, August 10th , 2054 Gonzalo Ordóñez burst onto the M3L Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Barton Springs garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 26-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .526 (10-for-19) with 2 home runs and 14 RBIs last week. This year Ordóñez is batting .248 with 10 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
