Yakima Second Baseman Nets 3AA Award Monday, August 6th , 2063 The top batter in the M3L Double A last week was Jurrie Kila, who batted .500 and towered above everybody with a 4-game hitting barrage. During the week Kila banged out a .500 batting average (9-for-18), 1 home run, 2 runs batted in and scored 5 runs. Today the Yakima second baseman received the 3AA Player of the Week Award. This year, Kila is batting .316 with 8 home runs. He has scored 37 runs and driven in 38. |
