Pilgrims Tinker Gone for Year Wednesday, August 10th , 2061 James Tinker of the Pilgrims just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Providence catcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Westwood Sixshooters recently at Sixshooters Stadium. Tinker suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases. The Pilgrims medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6-7 months. Tinker is hitting .218 this season with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has 17 hits in 78 at-bats. |
