3AA Awards Best Batter Prize to Cummings Monday, August 15th , 2061 M3L Double A pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Peyton Cummings of the Lancaster Farmers out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 23-year-old first baseman boasted a .524 average with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Cummings went 11-for-21 for the week. Thus far this year, Cummings has hit .296 with 10 home runs and 51 RBIs. |
