3AA Star of the Week Picked Monday, August 22nd , 2061 Peyton Nelson swung a blistering bat last week for Yakima, rapping out 9 hits in 20 at-bats against Hops opponents to propel himself to the M3L Double A Player of the Week Award. Whenever the third baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 24-year-old racked up a .450 batting average with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Currently Nelson has 10 home runs and a .278 batting average. |
