Farmers Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 14th , 2061 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Lancaster Farmers. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Farmers shortstop Ronald Harris. The Farmers have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 29 years as a M3L Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 21st in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022. |
