Wednesday, October 7th , 2054
He may have less experience than most of his M3L Double A peers, but that didn't slow Bill Davis down at all in 2054.
At the age of 24, the Lake Murray first baseman has been named the winner of the M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.
He had a .327 batting average and a .415 on-base percentage this year. In 73 games he piled up 92 hits, 19 doubles, 1 triple, 17 home runs, 53 RBIs and 45 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Munoto Kodo of the Casper Ghosts finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Ludwig Hofler of the Pine Island Dolphins finished third.
