White on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 19th , 2058 Caden White must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .471 clip, then the Barton Springs right fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the 3AA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week White batted .471 (8-for-17) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. For the year, White is batting .256 with 4 home runs. |
