Pine Island Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 20th , 2058 The Pine Island Dolphins never had much playoff hope this season anyway, but now it's official -- the team has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2054. In total, the Dolphins have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 12-year history.
