Big Bat Pays Off, Pérez Player of the Week Monday, September 11th , 2062 Steve Pérez is respected by most Ottawa Fat Cats fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the M3L Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .500 average (6-for-12) with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Pérez is hitting .284 so far this season with 52 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 91 hits including 12 home runs, 13 walks and .315 OBP. |
