Highlanders Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, September 16th , 2062 The season showed promise, but it is now a mathematical certainty that the Asheville Highlanders will finish the 2062 season empty-handed. "Our guys are disappointed," said Asheville manager Chris Sanders. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2049. In total, the Highlanders have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Highlanders have missed the playoffs 6 times. Asheville last won the 3L AA Championship in 2049. |
