Ghosts Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 17th , 2062 Casper Ghosts manager Jerry Duke said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Casper last appeared in the postseason in 2055. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 21 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ghosts have missed the playoffs 8 times. Casper last won the 3L AA Championship in 2053. |
