Fontaine Captures 3AA Award for Best Manager Friday, October 7th , 2061 Ludovic Fontaine stepped before the microphone today and accepted his M3L Double A Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Richland Rails organization for making the 2061 season such a success. Fontaine struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Richland organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Fontaine sparked the Rails to a 62-40 record and a second in the Menard's AA standings. |
