3AA's Best Player Selected, It's Parker
Saturday, October 7th , 2062
He may have less experience than most of his M3L Double A peers, but that didn't slow Larry Parker down at all in 2062.
At the age of 24, the Casper shortstop has been named the winner of the M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.
He had a .356 batting average and a .444 on-base percentage this year. In 82 games he piled up 114 hits, 21 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 73 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sakutaro Kato of the Lancaster Farmers finished second in voting, while Jim Woods of the Pine Island Dolphins finished third.
