Lawrence Twirls Rails to Shutout Win Friday, May 5th , 2062 Allan Lawrence led the Richland Rails to a shutout victory, 5-0, over the Northville Eclipse at Rails Ballpark. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Lawrence recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Lawrence yielded 3 hits and had 2 strikeouts and 4 walks in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Northville manager Daniel Katz said.
