SAA Best Hitter Award to Chesapeake's Juan Flores Saturday, July 1st , 2062 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 24 Juan Flores has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the USSL Double A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .293 average with 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored. To date Flores has chalked up a .253 average with 10 home runs, driven in 30 runs and scored 23 times. |
