Star of the Week Named in SAA Monday, August 3rd , 2048 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Ernie Lewis of the Akron Blimps reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Lewis rocked opposing pitching for a .542 average (13-for-24), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Lewis is batting .336 with 3 home runs. He has scored 27 runs and driven in 22. |
