Injury Sidelines Gustavo Pérez For Year Sunday, August 2nd , 2054 The season is apparently over for Gustavo Pérez. The Providence Pilgrims medical staff informed the club that the first baseman will be out at least 5-6 months with a ruptured achilles tendon. Pérez was hurt in the game against Chesapeake while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Pérez is hitting at a .286 pace with 9 home runs, 34 RBIs and has scored 43 times. |
