Playoffs Won't Happen for Rapiers Friday, September 16th, 2039 Durham Rapiers manager Emílio Sáenz said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Durham last appeared in the postseason in 2028. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 20 times in their 24-year history. Durham last won the SL AA Championship in 2028. |
