Etheridge Torches Highlanders for 5 Hits Saturday, July 9th , 2061 Rick Etheridge said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Asheville Park, and it showed in the box score. The Lake Murray left fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Asheville Highlanders, leading his club to victory, 11-1. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Etheridge said later." Rick Etheridge hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Joaquín Martínez in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
