SAA Honors St. Petersburg Catcher Monday, July 16th , 2063 Spencer Jeffries swung a blistering bat last week for St. Petersburg, rapping out 9 hits in 22 at-bats against Thunder opponents to propel himself to the USSL Double A Player of the Week Award. Whenever the catcher hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 24-year-old racked up a .409 batting average with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Jeffries is currently hitting at a .285 pace with 8 home runs and 23 RBIs. |
