Great Week for St. Petersburg's Damian García Monday, July 25th , 2061 Damian García is respected by most St. Petersburg Thunder fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .579 average (11-for-19) with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this year, García is hitting .328 with 7 home runs. |
