Barrage of Hits Gets Payton SAA Award Monday, August 6th , 2063 James Payton demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the USSL Double A Player of the Week Award. The St. Petersburg left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .667 average (10-for-15) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Currently Payton is batting .295 with 6 home runs and 37 RBIs. |
