SAA's #1 Player, Silva of Toledo Monday, August 8th , 2061 Alfredo Silva is respected by most Toledo Saboteurs fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old catcher went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .529 average (9-for-17) with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far on the season, Silva is hitting .324 with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 11 hits and played in 9 games. |
