Star of the Week Named in SAA Monday, September 12th , 2061 One of the league's most exciting young players, Carl Flowers of the St. Petersburg Thunder earned himself USSL Double A Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 23-year-old first baseman had a lofty .625 average (5-for-8), collecting 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. At present, Flowers is batting .356 with 138 hits and 18 home runs. He has knocked in 52 runs and scored 66 times. |
