St. Petersburg Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 2nd , 2062 There will be no playoff celebration in the St. Petersburg Thunder clubhouse this year, as the club was today officially eliminated from contention. The Thunder have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 25 years as a USSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 17th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2028. St. Petersburg has won the SL AA Championship 4 times in their history. |
