Gulf Coast Turbeaus Guaranteed Top Spot in Silver AA Monday, September 19th , 2061 Say what you want about the Gulf Coast Turbeaus and their abilities on the baseball diamond. Nobody can question their ability to celebrate a division title. The music was loud and the adult beverages were flowing tonight as the Turbeaus officially clinched the Silver AA. "You concentrate so hard on winning the division, so it's nice to finally be here and be able to enjoy it," said reliever Michael Carlson, whose championship t-shirt was drenched. "It's probably going to be a long night." Gulf Coast clinched the division with a record currently sitting at 64-38. It is the 1st division championship in team history and will give the Turbeaus the opportunity to go for their 2nd USSL Double A championship. |
