SAA Top Manager is Sanders of Asheville Friday, October 7th , 2061 Club officials have reported seeing Chris Sanders at the ballpark as early as 7 am. His dedication, coupled with a shrewd management style and a knack for knowing "who's hot and who's not" earned Sanders the USSL Double A Manager of the Year Award for 2061. "I guess you could say I pushed all the right buttons at the right time for the Highlanders to have the season we did. But keep in mind, too, that I also had a group of dedicated ballplayers who played their hearts out. I thank them for winning this award for me." There was much joy in Asheville this season. Their beloved Highlanders took second place in the Silver AA, rounding out the year with a 63-39 record. |
