Silver AA Winner is Squirrel Hill Pierogis Sunday, September 19th , 2060 Anthony Martin of the Squirrel Hill Pierogis said he'll remember his team's 2060 Silver AA championship for the rest of his life. "To pull it out by only one game, it's pretty memorable," the catcher said. "Something to tell the grand kids one day." The team's record sits at 58-44 and the division title is the 3rd in team history. Team manager Ben Cooper said "it would mean so much to Squirrel Hill" to bring the 4th USSL Double A championship home. "It's SL AA Championship or bust at this point," he said. |
