Athletic Club KC Academy Out of Playoff Race Thursday, September 19th , 2058 Athletic Club KC Academy first baseman Alvin Grant said his team's effort to get into the playoffs fell "heartbreakingly short." But that's the situation they are faced with, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The have missed the playoffs 13 times in their 15 years as a USSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2030. Athletic Club KC Academy has won the SL AA Championship 2 times in their history. |
