SAA Announces Best Player Award
Wednesday, October 9th , 2058
The manager of the Athletic Club KC Academy said he thinks Alvin Grant is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2058 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USSL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.

His winning campaign featured a .312 batting average and a .427 on-base percentage this year. In 102 games he piled up 114 hits, 17 doubles, no triples, 27 home runs, 71 RBIs and 75 runs scored.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10. Artie Banks of the Arizona Javelina finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Carlos Hernández of the Asheville Highlanders finished third.
