The Gwinnett right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .474 average (9-for-19) with 1 home run and 3 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. For the season, McElroy is currently batting .342 with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs. In 20 games he has reached base at a .422 rate and scored 15 runs to date. |
