Season Over for Mike Moore in Bethesda Friday, June 17th , 2061 The season is finished for Mike Moore of the Bethesda Atoms. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Atoms starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Arizona Javelina. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. This year, Moore has worked 35.1 innings with 16 strikeouts en route to a 1-3 record and 4.08 ERA. |
