Season Possibly Over for Tae-kyun Hong Sunday, June 4th , 2062 The season is finished for Tae-kyun Hong of the Vancouver Vipers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Vipers starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Crescent City Krewe. Team doctors said it would take at least 13 months to heal. Hong has made 5 starts so far this year and put up a 0-4 won-lost record with a 4.23 ERA. In 27.2 innings he has allowed 26 hits, walked 6 and struck out 19. |
