Atoms Bennett June's #1 Pitcher Saturday, July 1st , 2062 In June, the premier pitcher in the USPL Double A was a reliever. It does happen, but not often. The Bethesda Atoms fine bullpen ace, Will Bennett stood out some much that he was picked the outstanding Pitcher of the Month by the USPL Double A. The Bethesda reliever was extraordinary with 10 saves in 12 relief appearances, a 1-0 won-lost mark and 0.00 ERA. He worked 10.2 innings, allowed 8 hits, struck out 7 and walked 4. So far this season, Bennett has picked up 13 saves in 22 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark with a 0.44 ERA and fanned 22 batters in 20.2 innings. |
