Watson Earns PAA's Best Pitcher Honor Friday, July 1st , 2061 The best at putting a stop to late-inning rallies in the USPL Double A in June was Nick Watson of the Ithaca Fighting Imps. For his stellar work out of the bullpen, he has been named Pitcher of the Month. He chalked up a 2-0 record, 9 relief appearances and 5 saves with a 0.90 ERA. Watson pitched 10 innings and rang up 14 strikeouts. This year, Watson has earned 8 saves, worked 20.1 innings, fanned 26 hitters and recorded a 2.66 ERA. He has also put up a 4-1 won-lost mark. |
