July's Premier Batter Announced Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 Jorge Valdéz made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the USPL Double A this past month. The Marquette Miners shortstop shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old hit .371 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This year, Valdéz is batting .306 with 41 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 18 times and has batted in 25 runs. |
