Ogres Oliver and Guinea Pigs Bean Suspended for Fight Thursday, August 9th , 2063 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Olympia-Gwinnett contest at Experimental Stadium. The Ogres Joe Oliver and the Guinea Pigs Jeff Bean will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this year, Oliver is batting .293 with 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and 45 runs scored. His record this season is 4-3 in 14 starts and Bean has a 2.96 ERA. |
