Week's Top Player: Olympia's Davis Monday, September 12th , 2061 It was some kind of week for Matt Davis of the Olympia Ogres. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .778 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the USPL Double A. Last week Davis went 7-for-9, chalked up 1 home run and 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. So far on the season, Davis is hitting .243 with 9 home runs, 41 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 84 hits and played in 95 games. |
