Wood Caps Great Week Monday, August 14th , 2062 Bruce Wood is respected by most Nuevo Mexico Mariachis fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .619 average (13-for-21) with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this season, Wood has hit .352 with 8 home runs, 36 RBIs and scored 33 times. |
