Gulf Coast Punchless in 11-0 Loss to Atoms Friday, August 18th , 2062 There was no spell, no black magic -- just good pitching. Keolamauloa Adoniia of the Bethesda Atoms blanked the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 11-0, at Mobile Home Park, and he did it the old-fashioned way. After finishing the 6-hit, complete-game shutout, he was all smiles. "I threw a lot of my pitches for strikes in this game," Adoniia said. "I mixed it up and tried keeping these guys off balance." Adoniia walked 1 and struck out 7 in the victory. "He was throwing his breaking ball for strikes and we never capitalized on any of his mistakes," Turbeaus manager Neal Davis said later.
