Mercer Island Eliminated from Playoff Contention Sunday, September 3rd , 2062 The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles will have to play out the season without even the faintest glimmer of hope for a late-season playoff push. The club was mathematically eliminated today from postseason contention. Before this season, the Screaming Eagles last missed the playoffs in 2060. In the 46 years they have been a USPL Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 11 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Screaming Eagles have only missed the playoffs once. Mercer Island last won the PL AA Championship in 2061. |
