Wood: Big Hit in the USPL Double A Monday, September 4th , 2062 Bruce Wood is respected by most Nuevo Mexico Mariachis fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .409 average (9-for-22) with 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. To date, Wood has collected 90 hits for a .333 average. He has posted 12 home runs, scored 41 runs and driven in 46 runs. |
