Ithaca Captures Wild Card Monday, September 18th , 2062 They won't go into the USPL Double A playoffs as odds-on favorites, but the Ithaca Fighting Imps still like their chances after capturing a wild card playoff berth. "We feel good. We obviously wanted to win the Premier AA, but we still feel we have what it takes to make a run here," said first baseman Jerry Knight. "If we can win this thing, no one's going to care that we didn't win the division." The club will be vying for its 6th USPL Double A championship. |
