Wild Card Clinched by Gwinnett Wednesday, September 19th , 2063 The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team's 2063 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close. "It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Guinea Pigs. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said starting pitcher Matt Griffin. What ended up happening is that the team's 56-46 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 9th PL AA Championship in franchise history. "It's only going to get more exciting from here on in," Griffin said. |
