Miners Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, September 22nd , 2061 The Marquette Miners may feel they were as good as the playoff teams this year, but the club has ultimately fallen short of qualifying and will watch the postseason from the sidelines. "It's frustrating because we really feel like we could have given any of the teams a run for their money," said reliever Bryan Ogle. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Miners have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2034.Marquette has won the PL AA Championship 8 times in their history. |
